These are the questions I ask my conservative friends:

Do you go to a cute, but dumb, doctor when you're deathly ill? Do you go to the investment banker who looks hot in a suit or do you go to the guy who makes you money?

But, a pro-lifer argument at Political Animal says (won't vote for Kerry because Kerry supports abortion):

How can you vote for a man who claims to be "pro-life" when the war he set in motion has ended the lives of thousands of Iraqis? Some warriors, certainly, but many children, fathers, mothers (and probably a good number of expectant mothers)? How can you show so much adamant, concrete concern for an embryo when you so callously accept and pardon genocide?*

And, WOT (WAY off topic) ... do you think that God sees all things and all times? seems to be what Revelations is all about ... so, if that is true, then when he gave Ishmail a great nation (because he loved him), do you think he forsaw the way the children of Abraham would treat each other in the distant future? I just can't see how the God of Abraham thinks this is ok.

*10,000+ this year folks, for an optional war ... how long will it be until the US has killed as many Iraqis as Hussein did (whose steady leadership gassed his own people with the chemicals we gave them)? Is it now ok to kill Iraqis because we're the ones doing the killing?
